Ashington House Project

Ashington House, part of Bethnal Green (Tower Hamlets – London), is as brutalist as it comes. With concrete buttresses, jaunty angles, and built for social housing, this House is truly one of a kind. Built by the architect Moffat in the 1950s, this building was condemned in 2017 with demolition due in 2023.
As I learned about this news, I knew I had to preserve this wonder in one way or another. So over the last few months, I’ve been developing a full virtual tour of the building, complete with drone shots and 360 videos, as well as capturing audio. I aim to make this tour as fully immersive as possible and will continue perfecting it into the winter months.
